Remove all batteries in the lock, ensure that the yellow (Yale) or green (Z-Wave) radio module has been fitted properly. Finally, replace all of the batteries and repeat the steps on page 20 of the user manual. If the error beep is when you press number '1' in the menu. The lock thinks it is already connected to a system. For a Yale module, please carry out the steps on page 21 of the user guide to reset the module. For a Z-Wave module, you will need to put your home automation system into unpair mode first (for Samsung SmartThings please click here) and then carry out the instructions on page 21 of the user manual to unpair. Once these have been completed carry out the instructions on page 20 of the user manual to connect the lock. Can I use my smartphone to unlock my Keyless ConnectedThe Keyless cannot communicate directly with a smartphone, however by connecting your lock to a home automation/security system you can get this functionality. For example if the Yale CCTV/Alarm compatible radio module is added to the lock, it is then able to connect to either a Yale SmartPhone Alarm or Yale CCTV system and be unlocked through that app. If you wish to connect to a Z-Wave home automation system, please make sure the Z-Wave controller you purchase has the functionality to unlock via an app. I have an existing keyless lock, can I add a radio module to connect it to make it connected?Unfortunately no, the Keyless Connected product is completely different from the Keyless. This means that no connected radio modules will be compatible with the previous Keyless model. Can my Keyless Connected Lock connect to any Z-Wave home automation system? For security reasons our locks will only communicate to Z-Wave home automation systems that have the security command class enabled. This provides an extra layer of encryption above the standard Z-Wave level. We recommend only buying home automation systems that have gone through our integration testing, these can be found on the partners page. No sounds can be heard from my Keyless Connected. Please refer to the silent mode section of the user manual on page 18 and disable the silent mode. There is no power to my unit. Please try changing the batteries, making sure that the orientation of the batteries matches the diagram on the back of the battery case. Please make sure to use high quality AA batteries as low quality batteries can be slightly smaller which causes the power to fail. When I turn the keyless door knob, it seems very stiff,This could be caused by the tail bar being cut too long. Please take the nightlatch off and check that the spindle is not sticking out more than 17mm from the door. Can I use my existing nightlatch with the Keyless Connected? The Keyless Connected is compatible any night latch as long as it has a 60mm backset and only has to be turned 90 degrees to open the door. If the nightlatch can only be turned one way to open the door, the handing plate must be installed with the lock. Failure to do this could end up with the Keyless Connected becoming misaligned with the nightlatch and unable to unlock. How can I tell if I have a Keyless or a Keyless Connected? The easiest way to tell is that if your lock has a little white box on the outside saying “card”, then you have a Keyless Connected. The Keyless Connected gives an error beep when adding a Key fob: Remove all of the batteries in the lock. Ensure that the black radio module has been fitted properly. Finally, replace all of the batteries and repeat the steps on page 14. The lock doesn’t recognise the Key Fob. Please make sure that both buttons on the keyfob are pressed at the same time until a solid red light appears on the keyfob.
