Connecting your Yale Smart Lock to a Yale CCTV


1) Follow and complete the full installation instructions to install both your Smart Lock and CCTV.

2) Please make sure the ‘Alarm Link Adapter’ is inserted into the USB port of the CCTV DVR box and the Yellow Yale module is inserted into the Smart Lock. The batteries must be removed whilst inserting the module.

3) Wake up the Smart Lock and enter your master code followed by the hash button. Tthe lock should make two beep sounds.

4) Press the number '4' then followed by the hash button. If you get an error beep, please take out a battery and ensure the module is inserted properly, replace the battery then repeat the process from step 3.

5) Press number '1' followed by the hash button. If you get an error beep, please press number '2' (if Keyfree connected) or '3' (if Keyless connected) then repeat the process from step 3. The lock is now in "pairing mode."

6) On the 'Alarm Link Adapter', press and hold the button saying 'Keyfob' until the red light comes on. Please note, you only have one minute to do this from completing step 5.

7) Please wait up to one minute for the Smart Lock to indicate it has been connected with three ascending beeps.

8) On the Yale CCTV app, swipe the information bar left and then press the unlock button.

 

 

Connecting your Yale Smart Lock to the Yale Smartphone Alarm


1) Follow and complete the full installation instructions to install both your Smart Lock and Smartphone Alarm

2) Ensure the Yellow Yale module is inserted into the Smart Lock. The batteries must be removed whilst inserting the module.

3) Wake up the Smart Lock and enter your master code followed by the hash button. The lock should make two beep sounds. 

4) Press the number '4' then followed by the hash button. If you get an error beep please take out a battery and ensure the module is inserted properly, replace the battery then repeat the process from step 3.

5) Press number '1' followed by the hash button. If you get an error beep please press number '2' (if Keyfree connected) or '3' (if Keyless connected) then repeat the process from step 3. The lock is now in "pairing mode."  

6) On the Smart Phone alarm, press and hold the learn button until the alarm beeps. (Please note you only have 1 minute to do this from completing step 5).

7) Please wait up to one minute for the Smart Lock to indicate it has been connected with three ascending beeps.

8) On the Yale Alarm app, press the 'lock' button.
