Yale has been nominated for the third consecutive year in the ‘Security and Safety Product of the Year’ category in the 2016 DIY Week Awards.

Both Yale’s Keyfree and Keyless Connected smart locks are up for the prestigious award.

Voted for by a panel of influential and respected experts in the retail industry, the Keyless smart lock was also heralded as one of DIY Week’s ‘Products of 2015’.

Now in its sixth year, the annual award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 16th February at the Ricoh Arena, celebrating excellence and innovation in the DIY and garden industry. The ‘Security and Safety Product of the Year’ category will see Yale going head to head with Carl Kammerling International for its Kasp 500 Series Van Lock and Masterlock’s Bluetooth Outdoor Padlock.

Hannah Adkins, Marketing Executive for Yale, commented: “Being nominated for a DIY Week Award in this category just highlights our continued commitment to developing innovative security products and it is fantastic to see our Smart Living range getting deserved recognition. We attend the awards every year and it’s always a fantastic night to celebrate the best in the industry.”
