Yale UK at the Royal County of Berkshire Show

Lauren Ashfield, Trade Marketer at Yale UK gave us an account of the event,

"The Royal County of Berkshire Show is a huge, annual event with over 65,000 visitors each year. From craft and food stalls, to pig showing skills, spitfire air shows and a hot air balloon flight at the end of each day – it really was new territory for showcasing Yale security products.

Prepared for the elements Sorab Khanna, Rob and I opened up our show tent for business at 8am on Saturday 15th September. It wasn’t long before our pop up banners and “beeping” lock blocks started to grab the attention of passers-by. Between us we were demonstrating the Yale Keyless and Key free digital door locks and the deal sheets were flying off the stand.

Luckily the sun was shining and an even nicer surprise for us was the members of the general public approaching us that already had the products installed and simply wanted to tell us how happy they were.

Day two saw more of the public come to our stand. The tent was even graced with a minor celebrity in the shape of Keith Chegwin, who approached us after pointing at one of our banners and commented to his wife “I’ve seen these locks, they’re great, you just put a pin code in”!."

If you want a chance to see the new digital locks "in the flesh" why not visit our live demonstration at the Bluewater shopping centre at the end of October feel free to mail us for more infornamtion.
