Yale in working partnership with local school children

The schoolchildren were invited to design an advertisement for Yale’s products and services, with 29 entries in total. Catherine Stock-Haanstra, Yale Category Marketing Manager, said: “This was a fantastic opportunity to work with the local community and in particular create a relationship with a primary school nearby. We enjoyed looking at all the entries and believe we gained a new perspective on how children view security within the home.”

Sophie Lauren Perry, aged 11, was chosen as the winner of the competition. She received £50 for her school and if she is chosen as the overall winner, which was run in conjunction with other local businesses, she will receive an impressive £500 for her school. All 29 entrants were also given heart or football padlocks from Yale.
The winning design was published in The Express and Star’s “Design an Ad” special supplement on 29 March.
