Product Sizes Explained

Mortice locks:

Mortice locks are available in 2 sizes, 2 ½” and 3”. The size describes the position of the keyhole from the edge of the door and is important to know if you are replacing a lock or if you are fitting a lock to a door which has a narrow frame.

Nightlatches:

Nightlatches are available in 2 sizes, 40mm and 60mm. The size describes the position of the keyhole from the edge of the door and is important to know if you are replacing a lock or if you are fitting a lock to a door which has a narrow frame.

Rim Cylinders:

Rim cylinders are universal fitting and can be used on any Brand of nightlatch.

Euro Profile Cylinders:

Euro profile cylinders are available in a wide range of sizes to cover different door thicknesses. When changing your cylinder you will need to measure the length of the cylinder to ensure it will fit your specific door. Euro profile cylinders are universal fitting and can be used on any Brand of mortice or Multi-point lock.
